For nearly 150 years, The Royal Children’s Hospital has continuously advanced great care to better support sick and vulnerable children.

Advances in medical care means that the number of children with complex needs being treated at The Royal Children’s Hospital continues to grow.

With support from the Good Friday Appeal, The Wadja Aboriginal Family Place (Wadja) can provide culturally safe, timely and responsive services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families at The Royal Children’s Hospital.

The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Simulation Program is taking team building to the next level through sophisticated medical simulations.

Thanks to community support through the Good Friday Appeal, The Royal Children’s Hospital is now home to a state of the art Nuclear Medicine SPECT/CT Machine, a first for the children of Victoria.

The Royal Children’s Hospital has become the first paediatric hospital in the southern hemisphere to install powerful MR PET scanning technology.
