Bodhi’s Emergency Surgery at 6-Weeks Old

My son Bohdi (who has Cerebral Palsy) had his first visit to RCH at 6 weeks of age for emergency surgery to put in a VP shunt as he had hydrocephalus caused by a stroke in utero.

Ms Wirginia Maixner is our hero! Since then we have been numerous times to RCH for shunt revisions and just recently had a bilateral foot reconstruction!

Bohdi is the most happy, funny, and charming little boy and we owe it all to the wonderful staff at RCH.
