2024 Charity House Underway!
The slab of the 2024 Charity House has been poured with the help of some of the communities best helpers.
A stunning two-storey 7-star energy-rated Henley Home is now under construction in Tarneit on a 476 sqm lot in Villawoods Alamora community. Last Friday the slab of the 2024 Charity house was poured with the help of some of the communities local children, including little Joshua.
Joshua’s journey at the RCH began after he was born with only half a heart thanks to a condition called Hypoplastic left-heart syndrome where that side of the organ doesn’t develop, Josh had his first open heart surgery at just 17 hours old, his second at three months, and spent his first 100 days in the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Thank you to Henley Homes and Villawood Communities and the many, many people who volunteer trades and supplies to build these beautiful charity homes! All the funds raised from these homes go to the Good Friday Appeal for The Royal Children’s Hospital to continue to provide world-class care for sick kids and their families across Victoria.
