Come on down to Kids Day Out
The Good Friday Appeal encourages Victorians of all ages to come along to the 2019 Kids Day Out, supported by the City of Melbourne. This annual event is a great way to bring the whole family together for a day of amusement, activities and entertainment, all while raising much needed funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital.
FREE ENTRY: You do not need to book or buy tickets. Select activities are $3 – $10, with other activities by gold coin donation.
GETTING THERE:
Please note there are major works taking place on roads and public transport routes. See the Public Transport Victoria site here for further details.
Trams – Take the 96, 12 or 109 down Spencer/Clarendon St to the stop at the Clarendon St entrance.
Trains – Travel to Southern Cross Station, then catch one of the above trams or bus route 238 (arrives at Convention Centre Place entry), or walk 10 minutes from the station. Buses will be replacing trains on the Cranbourne, Pakenham, Frankston, Sandringham, Gippsland and Geelong lines on Good Friday. Allow extra travel time to get to the Kids Day Out if you’re on these lines. See here for details. Plan your journey at ptv.vic.gov.au or vicroads.vic.gov.au.
