Come on down to Kids Day Out
The Good Friday Appeal encourages Victorians of all ages to come along to the 2018 Kids Day Out, supported by the City of Melbourne. This annual event is a great way to bring the whole family together for a day of amusement, activities and entertainment, all while raising much needed funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital.
Come March 30, the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre will be transformed into a fun filled family festival! Entry is free and selected activities $3 – 10, all other by gold coin donation.
FREE ENTRY: You do not need to book or buy tickets. Select activities are $3 – $10, with other activities by gold coin donation. Please note the entry points, with bag checks, indicated on the map below.
Trams – Take the 96, 12 or 109 down Spencer/Clarendon St to the stop at the Clarendon St entrance.
Trains – Travel to Southern Cross Station, then catch one of the above trams or bus route 238 (arrives at Convention Centre Place entry), or walk 10 minutes from the station.
Parking: Parking is limited so please consider using public transport.

For the first time ever, you can skate up a frozen frenzy at Kids Day Out with the BankVic Ice Skating Wonderland! Special thanks goes to Skating at Festivals for providing and building the Ice-Rink and to Aggreko for donating the refrigeration units for the Ice-Rink.
