Volunteering for the Good Friday Appeal

Volunteering on Good Friday

If you’ve never volunteered for the Good Friday Appeal before and are interested in assisting at the 2020 Good Friday Appeal, please complete our New Volunteer Application form below.

You may have seen volunteers answering phones, but unfortunately these positions are full.  Thankfully, that’s not the only role volunteers help us with on Good Friday. Our volunteers;

  • count hundreds of collection tins of money which are used to collect donations from the community at intersections, outside shopping centres and at fundraising events all across Victoria
  • help visitors find their way around Australia’s largest one day family friendly event, Kids Day Out, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre
  • collect donations at the ‘Kick for the Kids’ AFL match at Marvel Stadium
  • assist children with craft activities or scatter chocolate eggs at the largest Easter egg hunt in Australia, Cadbury Easter Picnic and Egg Hunt, held at Werribee Park
  • plus so many more …

We are fortunate to have so many dedicated volunteers who assist on Good Friday so all volunteer positions are usually filled each year.  We will add you to our waitlist and if any volunteer positions become available we will contact you in March 2020.  Thank you!

The RCH Pied Pipers has built a reputation as one of the key voluntary groups supporting The Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. To ensure the ongoing success of contributions to the Hospital, the RCH Pied Pipers would love to hear from anyone who would like to join them and support the kids.
