Thank you for your interest in running a fundraiser.
With the Good Friday Appeal less than a week away, registrations have now closed for 2019. However you are able to get involved in this year’s event by making a donation, purchasing a raffle ticket, or joining a fundraiser event.
It’s never too early to start planning your fundraiser for the 2020 Appeal! Here are some ideas to get you started.
If you’re looking for a fun (and very comfortable) way to help raise money for sick kids, why not hold a PJ Day at your school? Students and teachers are invited to come to school in their favourite pajamas, onesies, slippers or even just their favourite trackies for a gold coin donation.
PJ Day can be held at any time, so you can work it around your schedule.
Donation envelopes are a great way to get your students’ family and friends involved in the Good Friday Appeal.
We can supply every child at your school with an envelope.
Coin Line Competitions
Schools around Victoria hold friendly competitions to see which school house can create the longest coin line using silver and gold coins.
Raid the piggy bank and see which house wins!
Create Your Own Event
We’ve had bake sales to crazy hair days, we even had a school fill a bus with balloons to guess the number.
There are many weird and wacky ways for schools to get involved.
When registrations re-open, once registered you will receive a media kit, sample press release, proudly supporting logos, photos and videos you can use, as well as posters and bunting.
And don’t forget to share your story with us! We would love to hear what your school, kindergarten or child care centre did to fundraise for the Good Friday Appeal.
