Show your support for the The Royal Children’s Hospital by running a fundraiser at your school, kindergarten or child care centre. Here are some ideas to get you started.
If you’re looking for a fun (and very comfortable) way to help raise money for sick kids in Term 1, why not hold a PJ Day at your school? Students and teachers are invited to come to school in their favourite pajamas, onesies, slippers or even just their favourite trackies for a gold coin donation.
PJ Day can be held at any time in Term 1, so you can work it around your schedule. Once you register, you’ll receive a toolkit to help get you started.
Find out more here, or register by filling in the form at the bottom of this page.
Donation envelopes are a great way to get your students’ family and friends involved in the Good Friday Appeal.
We can supply every child at your school with an envelope.
Coin Line Competitions
Schools around Victoria hold friendly competitions to see which school house can create the longest coin line using silver and gold coins. Raid the piggy bank and see which house wins!
Create Your Own Event
We’ve had bake sales to crazy hair days, we even had a school fill a bus with balloons to guess the number.
There are many weird and wacky ways for schools to get involved.
Don’t forget to share your story with us! We would love to hear what your school, kindergarten or child care centre did to fundraise for the Good Friday Appeal.
We can provide you with a media kit, sample press release, proudly supporting logos, photos and videos you can use, as well as posters and bunting.
